There are a number of ways you can be involved with Yeadon Amateurs:
1) Why not join the Friends of YAODS and enjoy the benefits?
For a small, annual contribution you will help to keep Yeadon Amateurs at the forefront of local amateur theatre. The costs involved in staging our musical and drama productions continue to spiral and funding is always needed in order that we are able to maintain our high standard of theatre.
We appreciate that not everyone wishes to become involved in actually performing on stage, or even backstage, but could assist in some other way. By becoming a 'friend' you will become part of our team and help by providing a small part of our funding requirement.
As a 'friend' you will receive the following benefits:
- Recognition in the programme
- Newsletter giving details of the Societies activities
- Complimentary programme
If you would like to become a 'friend' please contact Linda Marshall on 0113 250 3032, 7 Carlisle Avenue, Yeadon, Leeds LS19 7RA or email info@yaods.org.uk
2) Take part in a show
We always welcome new members - in fact, we are well known for being a friendly bunch. If you'd like to be a chorus member for one of our musicals or join our Christmas Concert choir, you don't even have to audition!
There are auditions for principal roles, dancers and parts in our autumn play which will be published on our auditions call page. Or you can contact us on 0113 250 3032, email info@yaods.org.uk.
3) Sponsor us
An easy way to demonstrate your Corporate Social Responsibilty... why not support your local theatre group? Adverts in our programmes start from just £20!
4) Social networking
You can follow us on Twitter (@yeadonamateurs) and like us on Facebook (Yeadon Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society) for all the latest goings on.
