Welcome to Yeadon Amateur & Dramatic Operatic Society's website where you can find out about our forthcoming shows, rehearsal schedules and how to get involved with the Society.
YAODS has been active for many years, typically producing a musical in the spring and a play in the autumn; Gypsy was our 80th anniversary production. Our talented and diverse membership includes people from all walks of life, and of all ages. We are well known for being a friendly, welcoming society. If you have an interest in singing, acting, dancing, set design/building, costumes, make-up, front of house, designing publicity and programmes or any other activity involved with producing musicals, plays and concerts, we would love to hear from you. If you would rather enjoy watching a show than starring in one, have a look at our what’s on section! Our 2011 musical, Beauty and the Beast was a resounding sucess; join us in March next year for our production of Sweet Charity, all about a girl that just wanted to be loved. Before that, we've got our annual Christmas Concert to rehearse for and we are auditioning for our March 2013 musical, La Cage aux Folles, in December 2011 - for more info see our audition calls page.
